Allegorical Dreams

“Allegorical Dreams - The beauty of the Myth” By combining the lush sub tropical vegetation found near my studio in Hok Tsui Hong Kong, with the classical traditions of Greek and Roman allegorical themes and mythological figures, I created a series of works that were both surreal and fantastical. The sketches were drawn from the sides of fountains in Rome, of Bernini sculptures and magnificent forms from Villa Borghese to the gardens of Tivolli. The flora and forna from the adventures around the HongKong countryside and from late night star gazing from my studio home over looking the South China Sea.
